Paediatric First Aid (Plus Forest School) Full PFA
Course Introduction
The Paediatric First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (Full FPA) consists of the Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus, with the addition of a second day of training covering children’s illnesses and injuries.
The qualification is designed to meet the new requirements for people involved in the care of babies and children in Early Years settings or Childminding.
The course also incorporates the additional learning modules required to meet the EYFS guidelines for forest, beach, and farm schools, as well as other environments, with an additional four hours of supported online learning.
This certification is valid for three years and is a recommendation by OFSTED to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage Document.
Certification is accredited by the First Aid Industry Body.
Required qualification levels should comply with Ofsted regulations and the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework.

Who is this
course for?
This course is aimed at organisations and individuals who have a duty of care to babies, children and adults within their working environment. This includes Nursery environments, Childminders and Carers as well as designated Leaders and Staff who manage environments such as Outdoor Schools and facilitate associated activities.
