Introduction
The department for education recommends that basic first aid, including CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators, should be included in the key stages curriculum. First aid is a valuble life skill, promoting the SMSC ethos for schools, and one of the ways of enabling students to develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence.
At Northern Training Partnership Ltd, our children’s first aid facilitator Ashleigh Davidson has a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering fun, educational and engaging sessions for settings such as schools, after school clubs, toddler groups, and sports clubs.

As well as a busy Mum of four, Ashleigh has worked in early years provision settings and been involved in the facilitation of educational/physical development and welfare of children for over 20 years. She is friendly, funny and extremly engaging….the kids love her!
As part of our 20-year anniversary celebrations, we are offering FREE first aid awareness sessions to all school children within our partnership. The first aid topics are delivered in bite size sessions up to 2 hours long depending on numbers and age groups. These are fun engaging sessions applicable to all children including reception.
