Who is this course for?

This course is designed for senior management, people in supervisory roles and anyone tasked with the management and implementation of Health and Safety within the workplace.

The content of the course includes an overview of the legislation, implementation of compliance documentation and overall management of Health and Safety.

Course specification

Qualification

The Health and Safety Awareness qualification gives an in-depth understanding of the generic requirements of the workplace. It includes fundamental, theoretical and practical aspects of the management of health and safety regulations. This qualification is suitable to all risk level environments and is most suitable to those persons involved in the control, management or direction of employees.

Entry Information

This qualification can be completed as an individual unit or as part of package or amalgamated qualification. There are no academic prerequisites for learners wishing to complete this course, although a basic level of literacy is required. The qualification is suitable for learners who are 16+ and must be physically capable of demonstrating the practical requirement of the assessment as detailed.
